Building on over 30 years of global experience in both the financial services sector and the professional services sector, Meena brings a unique combination of experience in succession planning, executive/talent development and behavioural change and has been the lead consultant on many high profile and complex organisational transformations and advises several succession and nominations committees.
Having worked across many regions, including the UK, Asia Pacific and South Asia, Meena brings a strong cultural fluency and insight to her work with leaders and organisations.
Meena’s engaging and inspiring style of facilitation coupled with her cross cultural experience and strong commercial insights, makes her a sought after consultant, facilitator and coach. She has worked and consulted for companies as diverse as Intel, Exxon Mobil, Barclays Group, HSBC, QBE Insurance Group, Ericsson, MARS, Credit Suisse, AMP, John Lewis Partnership, Westpac Banking Corporation, Ernst and Young, KPMG, Minter Ellison, ANZ Banking Group and Jones Lang LaSalle among others. She served as a member of the Barclays Global Leadership Faculty from 2014 and 2016, providing consulting and facilitation support for their leader-led Transformation program.
Over the years, Meena has also developed a successful coaching practice, working with both teams and individual executives. Her developmental coaching expertise lies in working with executives who are in transition either into roles with bigger scope and scale, or who find themselves having to lead organisations facing disruptive change.
As an organisational psychologist and successful author of 4 bestselling books on personal and leadership effectiveness, Meena is frequently invited to speak at international forums on leadership development and change and has published several thought leadership papers. Her most recent book “Identity, Power and Influence in the Boardroom”, published by Routledge in 2019 offers actionable strategies for strengthening influence in top teams.
Meena is a non-executive director on the board of The George Institute for Global Health.
